GET TO KNOW
Certified Adjuster. Drone Operator. Loss Consultant. Father.
Next month I will be celebrating my 1-year anniversary with GC3, so it seems like a good time to share a little bit more about myself.
I was born in Rolla, Missouri. Growing up, my family moved around a lot, but most of my childhood was spent in the small town of Licking, Missouri where I lived with my parents and older brother, Jamie. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Liz for 18 years. We have two awesome children; Connor (14) and Amelia (10) and two dog children, Our German Shepherd Penny and our French Bulldog, Tater. In my spare time I enjoy taking the family boating on Table Rock Lake and perfecting my BBQ and smoking abilities on my many grills (My wife says I have too many but there is no such thing).
I began my career in the insurance industry at 22 as a field adjuster for a small mutual company in Missouri. Over the course of the next 20 years I work my way up to become Corporate Property Large Loss Specialist/General Adjuster for United Fire Group. It was there where I began working with GC3 on large loss projects nationwide. As an adjuster I enjoyed working with GC3, they always went above and beyond for the policyholder and had excellent drive for quality. I could involve them in any loss and know that it was going to get done right. So, when I was offered a position at GC3 it was an easy decision for me to become part of this hard working and knowledgeable team. I have enjoyed my first year here. I have learned a lot and helped contribute to our long list of services, for example utilizing my background as a drone pilot to create our drone program.
When I was an adjuster, my favorite part was assisting policyholders through an event in their life, to them, seemed like the world was ending. I spent a lot of time working and managing catastrophic events, such as Hurricane Katrina, Joplin Tornado, Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Gustav, Hurricane Matthew, Hurricane Hermine, Super storm Sandy, Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, Smoky Mountain wildfires, California wildfires along with many other events.
I look forward to being part of the future of GC3 and all the great things it has in store.
